Medicine bags for either man or woman should be made from animal skin and contain power objects for healing. Each one varies in size and objects. Most contain claws, feathers, rocks, bones, and herbs. Whatever you need will come to you. Crystals and stones were also put in bags. Medicine bags today are used to increase ones own spirituality and sacred power.
A spirit bag is a necklace that has herbs sewn inside and is given to either man or woman to wear for protection. It usually has three herbs sewn inside. They are sweetgrass which brings good thoughts to you. Sage and cedar cleanses the person.
